KEY RULES
BEFORE YOU MAKE THE CHANGE
NO RETURN
Once removed from the mound, a pitcher may not return to the mound as a pitcher.
MOUND VISITS
A second mound visit in the same inning requires removal of the pitcher.
PITCHING PROTEST
A pitching-eligibility protest must be filed while the violating pitcher is still in the game and on the mound.
